Yuri Andronov was a former cosmonaut and for unknown reasons ended up in the volunteer program aboard Talos I. His Volunteer ID is V-010655-32

Background[]
Yuri Andronov was imprisoned by the Soviet government for speaking against their military intervention in India. After being sent to a camp in Siberia, Andronov agreed to participate in the TranStar volunteer program in order to see his daughter, Mikhaila Ilyushin again.
While aboard Talos I, Andronov is sacrificed to a Mimic for Typhon research purposes. Morgan Yu was involved in the experiment.

Because of his disappearance in Siberia, Andronov's daughter started working aboard Talos I in hope to learn of what happened to her father.
