Literary Easter EggEdit
Hi, I was just checking on something and it turns out that not even the wikia had noticed a minor easter egg tied to Calvino. Granted, I wouldn't blame people for not noticing as it's a literary easter egg of a smaller book.
You see, Dr. Calvino is actually a reference to Italo Calvino, author of the book 'Invisible Cities'. The book is a fictious account of Marco Polo telling Kublai Khan about all the cities he had visitied that are within Khan's empire. Granted all the cities are fictional, but the descriptions are evokative and sometimes the book is used in art courses as a project to create a city from the book.
Need more proof? What does Calvino ask to change his password to? KublaiKhan.
