Li Phang was assigned to the Crater, with the job title of Observation. He observed the Volunteers undergoing testing against the Typhon on the Crater surface, and made notes on it. Prior to the outbreak, he held a conversation with new hire Terri Brown about how she felt about everything occurring at Pytheas while the pair of them watched an ongoing Volunteer testing session against Phantoms.

Peter finds Phang's body in the Crater Command Center. He was killed by a Mimic. Li Phang may carry a random weapon, as well as other random loot.
