Anders Kline was a shield engineer working at Talos I during Prey (2017).

Background[]
Anders Kline worked as a Magnetosphere shield engineer, assigned to the G.U.T.S.. Kline was in charge of the access keys and codes around the G.U.T.S., and employees looking for access were directed to him. He was also involved in other incidences around the G.U.T.S., including a mysterious cargo shipment failure which he reported to Gus Magill, and the disappearance of Josh Dalton, which was indirectly reported to him by Thomas Tucker.
Kline sent out a warning to the G.U.T.S. security staff announcing that the G.U.T.S. was in a formal state of emergency due to recent Magnetosphere shield generator malfunctions. He worked with Laurel Davis to investigate potential causes and fixes, and eventually entered the Magnetosphere chamber on February 15, 2035, during second shift to replace a broken coil. While inside, Kline was killed by a plasma pulse which Davis believed to have "cooked him in his suit," and his body was left to float in the chamber.
A package meant for Kline was left in the Crew Quarters, and the service staff left him the keycode for the mail room.
Prey (2017)[]
Morgan Yu finds Kline's corpse floating around inside the magnetosphere chamber. He carries the maintenance tunnel keycard needed to enter the G.U.T.S cargo tunnel, two neuromods, and the ARTX Propulsion Gen 1 chipset.
