Evelyn McCarthy is a simulation observer working on Talos I during Prey (2017).

Background[]
McCarthy worked for the Neuromod Division and was an observer in the Simulation Lab. She contacts Bellamy about Morgan Yu's indefinite testing, since his/her exhaustion is preventing them from getting useful results. She is also concerned about the effects of constantly installing and removing Neuromods. Bellamy reminds her it was Alex and Morgan's decision to extend the testing.
Prey (2017)[]
Morgan Yu finds McCarthy's corpse down the stairs from experimental growth lab in Arboretum. A shotgun laying near her suggests that McCarthy killed herself in order to not become another mind-control victim of the Telepath. She carries a lemon peel and a shotgun is laying near her.
