Thomas "Tom" Tucker was the director of Human Resources on Talos I during Prey (2017).

Background[]
Assigned to the Talos I Lobby as the HR director for TranStar aboard Talos I, Tucker's duties involved settling employee conflicts and welcoming new hires. One notable employee conflict occurred between Josh Dalton and Lane Carpenter, which Tucker became aware of after being sent twelve emails by Dalton, and he responded by scheduling a face-to-face meeting with Dalton. Tucker was later indirectly informed by an email from Gregory Kepner that Dalton had disappeared. Finding that Dalton's tracking bracelet placed him in the G.U.T.S., Tucker asked Anders Kline whether he had seen Dalton in the area.
A congratulatory email from Tucker to Morgan Yu was included in the Simulation Lab's apartment simulation, though it is unknown whether it was actually written by Tucker or by a member of the lab's staff. Tucker had also recently informed Sandro, a TranStar job applicant, of his acceptance into the company and Talos I.
Tucker was also concerned about why pilot Hunter Hale was paid a significantly higher-than-usual salary, but was assured by Alex Yu that there was no problem with Hale's compensation package.
Prey (2017)[]
Morgan Yu finds his corpse in the Arboretum. He carries veggie blend, 9mm bullets and a Typhon Lure. A Silenced Pistol can be found on the bench near him. Tucker appears to have been sitting on this bench and observing something on the Looking Glass screen in front of it, before committing suicide with the pistol.

- According to developer notes, "Smooth talking and good looking. And up-and-comer in the TranStar organization. At least that's what he thinks. But there is precious little for a marketing guy to do here on the station. Sometimes he gets to rub elbows with the stars, to make sure they remain convinced that they have made the right choice, but by the time they have arrived a Talos the contracts that prevent them from backing out are already in place. His latest project has been to interview Talos crew for a documentary-style sales tool about Life in Space. A bit that glorifies TranStar and really upsells Neuromods. He has gathered lots of notes about the key people of Talos and what they do."
