Background[]
Akande Benin worked as a security officer aboard Talos I in Deep Storage. At unknown time, Chief Elazar had ordered corrective action on him. Bennin would sit alone at his card table. He would often check Zachary West's desk for rats much to the latter frustration. Considering the comments made by West, Bennin might have had a crush on Ivy Song, thus explaining his prejudice towards Zachary. He also ordered shotgun shells, giving Chief Sho concerns for the equipment. His corrective was later closed and Chief Elazar promised him that he will get his desk as soon as possible.
Prey (2017)[]
Morgan Yu finds Benin's corpse inside the Data Vault in the Deep Storage. Benin carries suit repair kit, 9mm bullets and sunburst banana. A Shotgun and a neuromod is also laying near his corpse. A Weaver roams near his body and will turn Benin into a Phantom if it feels threatened by Morgan. It can be asumed that he tried defending himself along with Andrew Gray.
